Neiman Marcus is closing its Last Call discount stores. The Houston area has two stores, at Post Oak and Katy Mills.

According to the Dallas Morning News, the Dallas-based luxury retailer is shutting down the discount chain and selling two of its distribution centers in Texas.

That means 500 jobs will be cut and nearly all 22 stores closed this fall, according to the report. Several stores will remain open to sell liquidation merchandise.

Neiman Marcus Last Call is the favorite shopping spot for discount designer brands.
